Cozumel is the largest inhabited island in Mexico, and along with Cancun, one of the most important tourist sites in the Mexican Caribbean. Formerly it was inhabited by Mayans, who built the temple of the lunar goddess Ixchel, related to fertility there. Now it is visited and allows access to natural sites with indescribable beauty.

For those visitors who enjoy yachts, the island offers a marine and cabotage wharves; for nature lovers, it offers beaches, reefs, lagoons, marine fauna and birds that have made a shelter of the island and their surroundings.
